Event requirements
All registered attendees will have been notified of the strict COVID-19 procedures and protocols which will be in place at the event. These strict protocols mean we are limited to allowing one support individual per athlete into the stadium. For athletes aged under-18, two support individuals are permitted per athlete in line with welfare. All attendees must have pre-registered through the link that has been sent to all entered athletes. We appreciate your understanding and support.
Everyone attending the Championships will be required to provide proof of a negative COVID-19 lateral flow test on arrival at the stadium. Entry will not be permitted unless the individual has proof of their negative test.
Please be aware of any UK Government guidance about international travel prior to an event if you are intending to travel abroad prior to the Championships. These Championships are not being held under 'elite' status. We look forward to welcoming all qualifying athletes and their one 'supporter' to the 2021 England Championships as part of our 'Journey to Birmingham 2022' Championship events.
Eligible performance standards
Due to the number of athletes that have achieved qualifying marks across all events, and being within our capacity to host them through the two days, we have taken the decision to accept all individuals who have a qualifying standard. We have done this to give as many athletes as possible, in these age categories, the opportunity to compete whilst at the same time ensuring we do not exceed the maximum number of athletes permitted within the stadium.
This increase in entries has only been applied to athletes who have achieved the qualifying standard as per our original selection criteria for the Championships, which incorporate the British Trials for the European Under-20 and Under-23 Championships.
The eligible performance period is 1 January 2021 to midnight 6 June 2021. It is important to say that on 6 June not all performances recorded in eligible competition may be on the Power of 10 website but performances up to midnight on 6 June will be accepted.
