Licensed Competitions
Licensing your event
Applications should be submitted electronically via the links detailed below. Road and Multi terrain applications must be made no later than 28 days from the date of the event. Trail, Track & Field and Cross Country applications must be made no later than 8 weeks before the event date.
The applications will be reviewed and a licensed issued once all licence standards have been met.
Licensed event listings
The downloadable spreadsheets are updated approximately weekly. Licensed events may be subject to change – and only events in England (including Isle of Man, Guernsey and Jersey) are shown. Track and Field events can be indoor or outdoor.

Officials
Finding officials for Track & Field and Cross Country
If, as an event or competition provider, you are struggling to source enough officials for your event, we've got some useful contacts who may be able to help you identify officials.

If you are interested in gaining experience as an official at one of these events please contact Nichola Skedgel (Competition Partnerships and Innovation Manager) nskedgel@englandathletics.org who can put you in touch with the event organiser.
If you are interested in officiating at League matches, you can also complete an online form on the Association of Athletics Leagues website.
Officials requirements for Road & Multi-Terrain events
Most road and multi-terrain events do not need Officials other than an Event Adjudicator. You can select your Event Adjudicator based on the location of your event during your licence application. A Race Referee in addition to an Event Adjudicator is needed for County Championships or higher."
