England team selected for Trofeo Nasego World Cup Mountain Race

We are delighted to share the team selected to represent England at The Nasego World Cup.

The Nasego World Cup involves two races which makes for a tough weekend. The first race is uphill only over 4.2km and 1000m of ascent, then the following day it’s an up and down race over 21km and over 1300m of ascent. The team will compete in both events. There will also be a seven nations team competition against Italy, France, Switzerland, Scotland, Wales and Ireland.

This will be the third time England Athletics has sent a team to this prestigious mountain race weekend in Italy and it will be a fantastic experience, as well as a very tough weekend for all the team.

We wish all of the team the very best of luck!
