England Athletics U20 and U23 Championships (17-18 June): venue update

The operators of Chelmsford Sports and Athletics Centre have confirmed to us that the track refurbishment work is progressing well following a delay over the spring period. 

We are reassured, therefore, that our U20 and U23 Championships on 17-18 June will be staged there as planned.

In the unlikely event that anything should cause any further delay to this work being completed between now and the weekend of the 17-18 June, we have taken steps to secure Ashton Playing Fields, Woodford Green, as an alternative venue for our Championships, to help minimise as much as possible any potential disruption to those who may have already booked travel and accommodation.

We continue to be in direct contact with the athletes and officials attending these Championships and will provide any further updates to attendees over the coming days.
