England Athletics 5 Mile winners set the pace for 2020 road championships

Our first 2020 road champions have been crowned! The England Athletics' 5 Mile road championships were incorporated into the Alsager 5 race.

Congratulations to Omar Ahmed (Birchfield Harriers, David Lawrence) and Beth Potter (Shaftesbury Barnet). Beth broke the course record which has stood since 1991 and is only the second woman in 30 years to break 26 minutes. Medals were presented by Kevin Hussey on behalf of England Athletics.
