Club Support Fund: Round Two launches alongside new Facilities Improvement Fund
We are delighted to launch Round Two of our Club Support Fund as we look forward to the start of the new outdoor season.
This additional funding opportunity for affiliated clubs and member bodies coincides with the welcome news from the UK Government this week that organised outdoor sport can return from 29 March onwards.
After the success of Round One which was themed around the impact of COVID-19, Round Two focuses on providing grants which will help the sport make a dynamic return to our domestic season and deliver high-quality local competition.
Affiliated bodies, including competition providers such as county associations and leagues, will be able to apply when the application window opens on 1 March.

The application window for the Facilities Improvement Fund is the same as Round Two of the Club Support Fund, meaning it opens on 1 March and closes on 23 April.
We are committed to opening additional funding rounds of our Club Support Fund on a regular basis during 2021 and into 2022. More details will be released in due course.
Round One, which closed in February, saw us awarding grants totalling £45,000 to more than 100 affiliated clubs and member bodies.
Some further reaction from successful applicants can be seen below:

“We would like to thank England Athletics Club Support Fund for their assistance towards our increasing expenses in these unprecedented times i.e. volunteer training costs, sanitisation costs and a new admin system to manage non-cash payments.
