Celebrating the officials supporting our indoor championships

Did you know that it takes over 55 officials to ensure the smooth running of any one of our indoor championships? Without the dedicated support of our outstanding officials, we would not be able to host national championships and we are indebted to their commitment to making our sport fair and inclusive.

We are delighted to share the list of officials who will be helping our athletes at our upcoming indoor season, kickstarting on 18-19 January in Sheffield!

Speaking on their appointment, Technical Officials Development Manager, Marc Ritchie, said:

"The officials selected for the England Athletics Indoor Championship events are just some of our many amazing officials who do a fantastic job in creating a positive atmosphere and experience for athletes, coaches, spectators and other key stakeholders every week at on and off track events across England.

"Being part of events at all levels, including the England Athletics events, are some of the many highlights for officials who work so hard, the hours given to the sport in their own time.

"It also provides an opportunity for each official to continue to develop their knowledge and skills and continue to raise the bar on the exceptionally high standards of officiating our officials workforce are known for."
