Additional Para places added to the School Games National Finals
We are pleased to inform you that after working with the Youth Sport Trust and the event organisers of the 2024 School Games National Finals, we have managed to secure a further 16 Para places at this year’s Games.
This increases the number of Para athletes from 48 in 2022 to 64 in 2024 and increases the overall number of athletes who will take part in this year’s Games to 336. Frame Running and Ambulant 1500m will make up the additional 16 places at the Games.
We would like to thank the Youth Sport Trust for their great support in making this happen.
Updated selection policies
Please be aware that some changes have been made to the School Games selection policies (para and non-para). This includes the inclusion of the new events. These changes have been highlighted in yellow for ease when reviewing the changes / additions.
