45 Clubs awarded Club Improvement Fund grants in July

The July panel of the Club Improvement Fund saw 45 Clubs being awarded grants of up to £500.  This funding will support a range of club led projects from facility developments, increasing the number of trained volunteers and coaches to improving a Club's online presence.

On finding out they had been successful Nicki Fisher from Amazing Feet Running Club said,

"This is amazing news, thank you so much.  We have no doubt that the introduction of a website will greatly enrich the experience of our members, and your contribution towards the cost is very much appreciated."

Another recipient Matt Burke added,

"Allerton Junior Athletics Club are really pleased to receive funding from the England Athletics Club Improvement Fund.  We will be using this towards the replacement of our storage container which is in a state of disrepair.  This will improve the lifespan of our equipment ensuring it is safe for our Athletes."

The Club Improvement Fund remains open for applications from affiliated clubs.  To be considered for the September panel applications will need to be submitted by Wednesday 6 September.
