Youth Endurance resource
New for 2022, we are pleased to share with you the new Youth Endurance Resource. This resource is aimed at coaches, athletes, clubs, parents and others wanting to know more about how to support young endurance athletes.
funetics
funetics is a fun and inclusive programme, created by England Athletics, to help 4-11 year old children to learn, develop and practice running, jumping, and throwing all year round, for a healthy, active and confident future.
Athletics 365
A multi-event, young people development programme, which introduces athletes to the fundamental skills of athletics (vital to every sport). It is aimed at 8-15 year old, but the resources can easily be adapted for use with younger athletes.
Run, Jump, Throw
The Run, Jump, Throw resource embraces a child’s natural desire to move. The resource focuses upon running, jumping and throwing, the building blocks of athletics, which in turn underpin nearly all other sports and physical activities.
Leading Athletics
Our Leading Athletics practical workshop is a two-part webinar-based series. This online delivery incorporates two 1.5 hour sessions. Open to anyone aged 14 years and above looking to lead athletics activities for young athletes.
AAA
The AAAs provide funding, events and competitions to help with the development of young athletes. The AAA has also safeguards the history of the sport and awards its historic and valuable trophies to elite athletes.
English School's Athletic Association
The ESAA is an independent organisation which promotes the enjoyment of athletics in schools, and encourages the development and discovery of athletic talent.
Sportshall Athletics
An indoor competition format for young athletes. Sportshall emphasises the importance of team competition, fair play and the fact that taking part and being your best is more important than winning.
