Team announced for Snowdon Mountain Race

England Athletics are pleased to announce the representative team selected for the Snowdon International Mountain race which will take place on 20 July in Llanberis, North Wales

England has a long tradition of success at the Snowdon International Mountain Race, with numerous team and individual victories, but last year both teams finished 2nd so this year we are more determined than ever to regain the team titles. We’ve entered two of our strongest teams for some years. This year the race has the added international flavour of being part of the Mountain Running World Cup.

Team manager Mark Croasdale commented, "We always have high hopes of success at the Snowdon Mountain race, it’s a tough ascent and the descent burns your feet, it’s very different to many international mountain races, but is a classic race that many athletes want to win."
