Selection for Marathon and other events at 2018 Commonwealth Games

England Athletics are finalising the selection policy and criteria for the 2018 Gold Coast Commonwealth Games at the current time. The selection policy will be launched at the England Senior Championships (held as part of the AAA and UK CAU Championships) on 30th/31st July 2016 at Bedford International Stadium.

England Athletics want to give athletes every opportunity to gain qualification performances and ensure they can prepare properly so prior to the final announcement of policy and criteria in July 2016, England Athletics can confirm marathon performances from 1st September 2016 will be taken into consideration with the relevant period for all other events being 1st January 2017 to 23:59 on 1st October 2017.

Selection criteria will be formally announced for all events including marathon at the England Senior Championships and available after this event.
