The Track and Field Competition Conference at the Holiday Inn, Birmingham Airport, on 3 December, will feature a number of highlights across the day’s running order from 10am to 4pm, and you can be there for FREE by registering for a ticket.

Agenda items include:

  • Challenges facing competition across age-groups, abilities, elite, and para-athletics
  • The State of the Nation
  • The Voice of the Sport, featuring guest contributors

Nichola Skedgel, Competition Partnerships & Innovation Manager at England Athletics, said:

“This conference will be important as we come together, as a sport, to discuss how we can improve the provision of competition across all ages, abilities and aspirations. It will provide an opportunity for England Athletics to demonstrate our commitment to exploring the current competition environment for all, stimulate worthwhile discussion and share ideas and best practice with providers, athletes, coaches, officials, clubs, and parents so, together, we can help grow and improve the sport in this vital area.”

Delegates will hear from contributors representing England Athletics, European Athletics, Loughborough University, and the Youth Development League. There will also be the opportunity to attend networking sessions, and discover more about initiatives and subject such as funetics, Sportshall Athletics, sustainability within the sport, and digital technology.
