Club Volunteer of the Year 2025

This category is about celebrating a club volunteer’s achievements over the last 12 months. We want to celebrate the club volunteers that make our sport happen and highlight the impact they have had on their club, the key achievements from the past 12 months and learn about what makes them an invaluable member of your club.   

This award is to recognise a member of an England Athletics affiliated club who has been in a volunteering role for a minimum of 3 years. These roles could include a club committee member, a member of the club steering group and/or a hard-working unsung volunteer at your club. This category is all about rewarding the volunteers who make our sport happen.

Note: if you want to nominate a RunTogether group or leader, you should do so in the Community Project category.

Would you rather speak than type?

If writing isn't your strength, this year you can either submit a video or voice note by following the steps below.

Submitting a video / voice note

Please follow the below steps if you would like to submit a verbal nomination:

1. Complete the first two sections on the nomination form
   ('About you, the nominator’ and 'About them, the nominee')’ .
2. Select 'Video / voice nomination' when asked how you would like to submit your nomination.
3. Type 'video' or 'voice' in the 3 answer boxes so we can cross check.
4. Click ‘Submit’ at the bottom of the nomination form.
5. Record your video or voice note nomination on your phone.
6. Send the recording to us via WhatsApp.

Video / voice note guidance

1. Ensure your video is no longer than 2 minutes (we will not accept nominations longer than this).
2. In your video / voice note, answer the 3 questions in the final 'Nomination information' section of the form.

Sending your video / voice note

1. Send your nomination via WhatsApp to Megan Weir on 07442 776 379. If you have any issues sending your nomination in this format, please get in contact with awards@englandathletics.org
2. You must send your video along with the following information:
   • Your name.
   • The nominee’s name, region and their club/group.
   • The category you would like the nominee to be considered for.
