The final element of the Event Group Coach qualification is the 'Integration Day', which provides coaches with an opportunity to discuss and debate their coaching ideas, technical observations and principals of planning. Essentially the Integration Day brings to life the theoretical content that is covered in the qualification's online modules. We have opportunities in the coming weeks for people to complete their integration days.
The England Athletics regional volunteer awards evenings are held to recognise and celebrate the work of our volunteers, without whom the sport could not function. Volunteers were nominated by their peers and the England Athletics regional councils then made the decisions of who would win. Winners are put forward to the National awards which are presented at our Hall of Fame gala evening on 14th October.

Throughout the winter, as well as development opportunities for existing coaches, there are many courses for you to start your journey into coaching.

Macclesfield Harriers AC had a fantastic turnout for their first 'Have A Go: Throwing' event recently. 28 adults attended the session who all had a great time, whilst releasing some life stresses. Many of participants were trying throwing for the first time and had a go at javelin, discus, shot put and hammer over the course of the evening under the club's coaches' expert guidance.
England Athletics is pleased to announce arrangements for the first of our upcoming consultation events. We would like people from all sections of the affiliated athletics and running community to attend. So whatever your role in the sport please see these details.
