Team selected for the Swedish National Combined Event Championships
We are delighted to share the team who have been selected to represent England at the upcoming Swedish National Combined Event Championships (15/16 February).
This will be the first time that an England team have been sent to this championships, and it is a fantastic opportunity with a high standard of competition to compete against.
The team all gained selection at our recent indoor national championships earlier this month.
On the selection, England Athletics Team Operations Manager, Vicky Griffiths said:
“Congratulations to all selected athletes, along with their personal coaches and support teams. The standard at this year’s England Championships was very high and we hope to continue this momentum into this European competition.
"We have a great team of athletes selected. Some have a wealth of international experience; others this is their international debut, and they will no doubt learn a lot from the more experienced athletes. The standard of combined events in Sweden is high and we are looking forward to the challenge of competition."
