Running Industry Awards announce JustGiving as new Presenting Partner at new prestigious London venue in April 2027
Running Industry Awards presented by JustGiving will take place on Wednesday 21 April 2027 at the Royal Geographical Society in London, delivered in partnership with Running Industry Alliance (RIA), England Athletics and Run Events.
Running Industry Awards have announced a new presenting partnership with JustGiving, alongside a move to the Royal Geographical Society in London for the 2027 ceremony and celebration.
The announcement marks an exciting new chapter for the Awards, bringing together a new presenting partner, an iconic new venue and a new logo and visual identity created by Orangery, while continuing to recognise achievement across the running and wider multisport industries.
A new partnership with shared purpose
The partnership with JustGiving brings together organisations with a shared belief in the power of running and movement to connect people, create positive change and support causes that matter.
As a leading fundraising platform, JustGiving has helped charities, communities and individuals turn their passion into action. Its partnership with the Running Industry Awards reflects the important role that charitable giving, fundraising and social impact play across the running ecosystem, from mass participation events and community initiatives to the charities inspiring more people to get involved.
Alongside Running Industry Alliance (RIA), England Athletics and Run Events, the Awards will continue to celebrate the breadth of contribution across the industry, recognising commercial achievement, innovation, participation, community impact and the people helping to move the sport forward, together.
Rebecca Richardson, CEO of Running Industry Alliance (RIA), said:
“Running Industry Awards exist to celebrate the people and organisations who move our industry forward, and 2027 is our most ambitious year yet. Welcoming JustGiving as presenting partner is a perfect fit. So much of what makes running and multisport special is its power to bring people together for a cause, and fundraising sits at the heart of that. Moving to the Royal Geographical Society in the heart of South Kensington gives us the space and the setting the Awards deserve, and our new identity from Orangery marks a confident next chapter. Whether you are a RIA Member, TIA Member or not yet part of either Alliance, we want the whole industry involved. Nominate, vote and join us in London on 21 April to celebrate together.”
Barry Hopkins, Head of Run Events & Licensing, England Athletics, said:
“This is an exciting time for the Running Industry Awards. At RunEvents and England Athletics we sit at the heart of the Sport, and believe that the power of partnerships is how we drive forward everything in running. Not one voice, but the power of many. As co-founders of the Running Industry Awards, we are delighted to be working with the Running Industry Alliance, and welcome JustGiving as the presenting partner. The mass participation sector of the Sport has fundraising as its heartbeat, with millions raised every year for so many good causes in the UK. With the move to the Royal Geographic Society in London, this unlocks the next exciting phase for the Awards. We are looking forward to this new partnership and encourage everyone in the Sport to nominate and vote and to head to London on 21 April to share in the success of all.”
Pascale Harvie, President and General Manager of JustGiving, said:
“We’re delighted to partner with the Running Industry Awards and celebrate the people and organisations making such a positive impact across the running and multisport industries. Running brings people together in extraordinary ways, and its connection with fundraising is one of the most powerful forces for good we see. Every year determined and generous runners on JustGiving turn miles into millions of pounds for the causes they care about. We look forward to recognising the innovation, commitment and achievements that continue to move the running industry forward.”

A prestigious new home in London
The 2027 Awards will move to the Royal Geographical Society in London, one of the capital’s most distinctive and iconic venues. The move reflects the growth of the Awards and the need for more space, while creating an exceptional experience for guests.
A new look for the Awards
The 2027 Awards also unveil a new logo and refreshed visual identity, created by Orangery. The new identity reflects the next chapter for the Awards and their ambition to keep growing as the leading celebration of the running industry.
One industry, many achievements
Running Industry Awards presented by JustGiving celebrate the breadth, diversity and innovation of the ecosystem. They recognise excellence across brands, retailers, events, charities, communities, media, suppliers, service providers and the many individuals working to move the industry forward.
Through the ongoing connection with Triathlon Industry Alliance (TIA), the Awards will continue to recognise the wider multisport community and the important links between running, triathlon and participation sport.
The Awards are open to everyone: RIA Members, TIA Members and non-members alike. Nominations are an opportunity for the whole industry to put forward the people, businesses and organisations they believe deserve recognition.
