New Wheelchair Racing Partner announced - RGK Wheelchairs

We’re delighted to share that RGK Wheelchairs is now the Official Wheelchair Racing Partner for England Athletics.

This partnership brings together engineering precision and athletic ambition. By combining RGK’s world-leading design expertise with England Athletics’ reach and community impact, together we aim to make high-performance racing accessible to everyone — from grassroots to elite level. 

Every athlete deserves a chair that moves with them, not against them. Through this collaboration, we’ll work to break down barriers, improve access to equipment, and help more people experience the freedom, speed, and community that wheelchair racing brings.

Throughout the partnership, RGK and England Athletics will collaborate on new ways to engage and support wheelchair athletes across the country. 

England Athletics members will gain access to: 

• Exclusive demo days and testing events featuring the latest RGK racing chairs, giving athletes hands-on experience with equipment built for performance and precision. 
• Talent pathway sessions provide opportunities for developing racers to learn from experts and progress within the sport. 
• Special member offers, including discounts on selected spare parts and racing accessories. 

We’re also working together to ensure that the next generation of wheelchair athletes can access the right guidance, technology, and community support to thrive, whether that’s joining their first club session or training for the podium. 

Supporting the Talent Pathway

England Athletics leads on implementing a thriving talent pathway for athletes and para athletes. We work hard to create an inclusive, athlete-centred, integrated, aligned, clear, transparent, connected talent pathway. We develop talented athletes, para athletes and their coaches to progress through the pathway to improve performance levels. Resulting in, more high-performing athletes achieving performance benchmarks at all levels.
