Media accreditation applications open for 2026 championships
Are you a photographer, videographer or freelance creative looking to attend our England Athletics championships? Whether you are working on behalf of a company or yourself, you will need to apply for our tiered media accreditation.
We recently confirmed the dates for our 2026 England Athletics Championships.
Now, you can apply for media accreditation for our indoor championships and throws competitions. We'll provide an update in the new year on accreditation applications for our outdoor championships.
We can now share the different options and what you will need to supply in order to be considered. You must be over 18 to apply for all media accreditation.
New to this year, we are also offering the opportunity for Content Creators to attend our events. Explanations on the different media options are explained below.
Tier One
This tier will enable you to access the field of play with an England Athletics provided high visibility bib. You will also have access to tier 2 (as below). To apply for this level, you will need to provide a copy of your public liability insurance and RAMS to be eligible.
Tier Two
This tier will enable you to only access dedicated content capture zones across the venue.
Content Creator
You will be given access to the mixed zone and require permission to access other areas of the event.
Note: Winter Long Throws and Ron Pickering Memorial has no Tier requirements, but you do still need to apply for media accreditation.
DBS requirement
Update: From July 2026 and the start of our Outdoor Championships, you will also need to have and provide a copy of a DBS certificate. If you are unable to provide this, we will not be able to allocate you media accreditation.
