Katarina Johnson-Thompson to inspire youngsters at Birmingham Commonwealth Games
funetics is proud and excited to announce that our ambassador Katarina Johnson-Thompson will lead Team England’s athletics medal hopes at this summer’s Birmingham Commonwealth Games.
By attending the Games, Katarina will defend her Heptathlon gold medal that she won at the last Commonwealth Games at the Gold Coast (Australia) in 2018.
Katarina is an inspiration to our funetics children and we are so excited that these children - and for the children who will see her at the Games or on TV.
Katarina’s Heptathlon event takes place on 2nd and 3rd August at our home – Alexander Stadium.
funetics will also be live at the Games with activities that the Games visitors can take part in at the ‘Have-a-go’ zone.
