Join the Run340! challenge this summer

This summer, the UK hosts two major sporting events: the Commonwealth Games and the European Athletics Championships. To celebrate the inspiration and legacy of the Games, we’re inviting everyone to take part in our own virtual challenge – Run340!

Together, we’ll travel 340 miles from Scotstoun Stadium in Glasgow to the Alexander Stadium in Birmingham, celebrating movement, motivation, and community along the way.

Run340 opens on 15 May. You can start at any time, but all miles must be completed by 16 August, the final day of the European Athletics Championships.

Everyone can get involved

Take on the 340 mile journey your way – walking, jogging, running, or wheeling, at a pace that suits you.

You can take part individually, or as part of a team, sharing the miles and the motivation. Every step counts.

Run340! is designed to be as inclusive as possible. Inspired by the international athletics stage, the challenge is about getting more people active, however movement looks for you. Encouraging friends, family, and colleagues to join in and enjoy the journey together.

Run340! is a fun, motivational challenge, with prize draws and spot prizes along the way to keep things exciting.

How to join Run340!

We’re proud to partner with RESULTS BASE to deliver Run340! Entry costs just £3 per person. After administration costs, every entry will be donated to England Athletics’ charity, the Personal Best Foundation, helping make athletics accessible for disadvantaged children and young people. A booking fee of £1 per order will be applied by our online partner Results Base Ltd.
