Further age group drop-in sessions scheduled as changes approach
Ahead of the age group changes coming into effect on 1 April, England Athletics has been hosting a series of online drop-in sessions over the coming months, to allow those within the sport to get any remaining questions answered, or queries clarified. Two new dates for these sessions have been added in for 6pm-7pm on Tuesday 24 March 2026 and Wednesday 29 April 2026.
The session on Tuesday 24 March will be the final chance to get your questions answered before the changes come into effect the following Wednesday 1 April.
Then, the following two sessions - those on Wednesday 29 April and the next one afterwards in May/June - will focus on clarifying questions from the off-track community ahead of the cross country season.
You can watch back any of our previous drop-in sessions, including a hurdles-specific and a combined events-specific session.
England Athletics and the other Home Country Athletics Federations have worked to ensure that issues ahead of the April 2026 implementation are identified, rectified and understood.
These online sessions are a continuation of that process, and we encourage stakeholders to submit their questions in advance where possible, so that full and comprehensive information can be shared during the sessions.
Book your place
Book Tuesday 24 March Book Wednesday 29 AprilWe invite anyone involved in the sport to attend, and submit the questions which relate to the practicalities that they will face when these changes come into effect on 1 April.
