English athletes advance to UK Athletics programmes
You may have seen recently that we announced the athletes who have been selected on to the Youth Talent Programme, Junior Talent Programme, Senior Programme and Para Academy - we are now pleased to share the athletes who have been selected on to the respective talent programmes with UKA.
We are delighted that a total of 14 athletes have now moved on to UKA-funded programmes, three of which being para-athletes. This transition is exciting for the athletes and personal coaches as they progress with their athletics career on to, hopefully, the international stage. It is also with great pride that the athletes have used their experiences gained through the England Athletics talent pathway, competition structure and team opportunities to take that leap on to their next step.
