England team set to represent at World Athletics Race Walking Challenge
As a prestigious event on the calendar, England Athletics is thrilled to be sending a team to Madrid for the first time to compete at the World Athletics Race Walking Challenge.
The timing of the event, on 31 May, provides a great opportunity for our athletes who are looking for Commonwealth Games qualification and the chance to compete at Junior international championships this year.
Tom Bosworth will be Team Manager; the team should benefit greatly from his immense experience of representing England and Great Britain during his long race walking career.
"I myself will be experiencing leading a team for only the second time and look forward to using my knowledge to support this next chapter of talented race walkers."
Team

Tom continued:
"I’m delighted to see so many athletes express interest to be part of this team. The aim for this squad is development and international experience - so to be able to offer this to a number of athletes, some new, whilst others are more experienced, is incredibly exciting and valuable to them all."
We wish all the athletes a great competition experience!
