England team selected for Tallinn Combined Event International 

We are pleased to announce the athletes selected to compete at the Tallinn Combined Event International.  

Qualification was confirmed at the recent England Senior Combined Events Championships in Sheffield with Sam Talbot (City of Sheffield & Dearne AC, John Lane) and Lewis Church (Tonbridge AC, David Hull) selected for the heptathlon, and Abigail Pawlett (Trafford AC, Ashley Bryant) and Jordanna Morrish (Basingstoke & Mid Hants AC, Rafer Joseph) selected in the pentathlon. 

The Tallinn Combined Event Championships is one of the most sought after combined event competitions on the indoor calendar. A Silver level event on the World Combined Event tour, it attracts fantastic athletes from across the world. 

Speaking on the opportunity, Vicky Griffiths England Athletics Team Operations Manager said:  

“Congratulations to the athletes and their personal coaches who have been selected to represent England at this event. As top finishers at the England Championships, all have shown great early season form which they will be hoping to build on in Tallinn. The team will be supported by a fantastic team of support staff, and we are hopeful of fantastic performances across the board.”
