Congratulations to the winners of our design a vest competition

Throughout this exciting Summer of Sport, England Athletics, alongside the Personal Best Foundation and funetics, have been encouraging the next generation of young athletes to get creative. We asked them to design their dream athletics vest inspired by the athletes coming together from around the world to compete in the Olympic and Paralympic Games. We are now pleased to announce the winners.

There was so much creativity on show in the designs submitted from rainbow colours, to athletes in action and England roses to motivational words. Selecting the winning designs definitely was not easy, but a panel have selected their favourite designs in both age categories (0-8 years old and 9-18 years old).

The winner in the younger category was Charlotte, who captured the smiling faces of athletes taking part in sport in her design. What fabulous creativity!

In the 9-18 year old category, the winning design was not only full of colour and creativity, but also included some inspiring words from the designer. We are delighted to announce that Leonora created the winning design in this category.

Both the winners will receive a signed England vest from nine times Paralympic champion Hannah Cockroft, who has just returned from the Paralympic Games in Paris.
