Introducing Beck Bennett: Athlete Panel Chair

We are pleased to share that Beck Bennett has been confirmed as the new chair of the Athlete Panel.

Formed earlier this year, the Athlete Panel aims to represent the voice of competitive athletes taking part in all disciplines and event groups at every level of competition.

On her appointment, Beck said:

"It means so much to me to be entrusted by my fellow panel members and I can't wait to get to work alongside them and see what the group can achieve. It is amazing to be on a panel with individuals from such a variety of backgrounds and experiences. It is going to allow us to really champion the voice of the athlete at all levels in order to promote inclusion and to reignite the excitement of the sport for the country."

"One of my key aspirations as chair of the Athlete Panel would be to establish an identity. I believe this is super important and will help us to reach as many people in the sport as possible and ultimately help us to set out our priorities.

"Running has had an incredible impact on my life. Not only on my physical health but my mental wellbeing. From a young age I joined a local athletics club which I believe was paramount in shaping my love for the sport."
