Macclesfield Harriers & AC is holding an open “Have A Go” throw event on the evening of 30th August at Macclesfield Leisure Centre. This free two-hour event will give men and women a chance to try any of the four throwing events (shot put, discus, javelin and hammer). The evening will have a fun and social feel to it, as there will also be live music, food and drink available.

County championships will be taking place across England this summer. The vast majority of events will be happening in May with some counties also arranging additional events to take place at other times.
England Athletics’ National Endurance Conference with speakers including Malcolm Brown (coached to many international athletes as well as Alistair and Jonny Brownlee), and Barry Fudge (Head of Endurance at British Athletics).
