An Understanding Eating Disorders workshop will be held on 3rd April in Northampton. This free workshop is run by Allie Outram, a BACP accredited psychotherapist, and ex-international endurance athlete. It is available to all coaches on the National Coach Development Programme and a limited number of places are also available for any other interested local coaches.
Six visually impaired (VI) adults attended a fantastic running taster session expertly led by Run Leader Sara Davies. After some introductions the participants were all matched up with trained guide runners who had kindly agreed to support the event.
Since started up 2 years ago, road running club Team Anstey have grown and developed in size. Their latest project has been to develop a satellite junior section which links into the main club and provides brand new opportunities for young people aged 12+ to experience athletics and running.
