Many of our services are provided at staff operating in the field at a local level. This approach means there is a nationally consistent strategy and level of service but that these services are delivered to clubs, coaches, athletes and officials at a local level. You will find more information relating to these local services in this section of the website.
Many of the services provided by England Athletics are delivered to clubs and coaches through our Club and Coach Support Officers. There is a Club and Coach Support Officer covering every area of the country working to do exactly what their job says - to support the invaluable work of clubs and coaches. We also have a team of Education Coordinators. they too cover the whole country to ensure that courses for coaches and officials are held to enable them to develop their skills and improve their qualifications.

England Athletics is responsible for providing national level athletics championship competition but is delighted to work with the 3 Area Association partners to provide Area Level Competition for a variety of ages and across a variety of disciplines. England Athletics Chairman John Graves says, "Providing high level area competition to complement our national championships is something critical within the existing pathway. We are delighted to be working in partnership with all 3 established area competition providers to ensure the continuation and evolution of their championship programmes. Their wealth of experience in providing athletes and coaches with competition relevant to their needs at this level is crucially important as we seek to develop the next generation of senior champions."
