England Athletics Consultation
Following annual consultations since 2012 England Athletics is committed to ongoing engagement with clubs and other stakeholders within the sport.
We also want to hear your views on how London 2017 can be used to champion grassroots track and field and inspire more people to participate in athletics and running.
Documents, including the presentation slides and meeting notes, from last year's consultation events are now available to view at www.englandathletics.org/consultation-2015.
Please see the left hand menu for details of previous years.
Peter King, Chair of England Athletics, says: “It is essential that the work England Athletics does reflects the views and needs of the sport. The regional club conferences are an important part of ensuring we engage with clubs on the issues that matter most to them. It is therefore absolutely vital that a range of club members and representatives attend and participate so that together as a sport we can form a shared vision for the future and the role of England Athletics.”
Tony Shiret, Chair of the England Athletics National Council, says, “As I say every year - the best ideas come from the clubs and their volunteers. But we need to keep up-to-date with the views of the sport and the Executive needs to be accountable at these events for their strategies and actions. I hope there is a good turn-out so that your views are heard.”
