My mentality is if you enjoy something and will travel anywhere, anytime, anyplace to allow other people to enjoy the sport of activity they like to perform – for FREE. Then that is the true love of sport. It allows you to gain so much experience, enjoyment and vital transferable skills that can be transferred to any working environment – including sport.

Working within the Athletics Youth Advisory Group will enable links between all national governing bodies (NGBs) within the UK to be enhanced further. That can facilitate positive change for all roles within the athletics domain – coaches, athletes and officials, of all ages, background and gender.

Yours in athletics,

Marc Ritchie
