European Volunteering Challenge lead maintained

Great Britain and NI maintain their lead in the European-wide Volunteering Challenge, with Norway moving up to second over Germany who currently lie in 3rd.

Almost 800 hours have already been logged by volunteers across the country so far this year, cumulative total since 2014 is almost 9000 hours.

In terms of all-time recorded hours, our very own Youth Advisory Group European Rep Lijana Kaziow has finally overtaken Norway's Petter Wessel in the cumulative hours volunteered, and the UK Youth Advisory Group chairman Jacob Hood remains in 5th with other YAG members close behind.

The challenge continues, there is no age limit, so you can sign up no matter how old or young you are!

Officials - why not enter your hours officiating for any matches which include athletes aged under 30?

Coaches - record and keep track of how many hours you put into your club with younger athletes.

Other Volunteers - hours at the club, cross country or road races, or even that local project you have started?

If you need help or advice logging the hours contact Youth Advisory Group European Rep Lijana Kaziow Youngleaders@european-athletics.org
