The action continues to come quick and fast across the sport. We have reports on a range of competitions, you can read below about an important opportunity to give your views, and about support available to clubs.

Our 2017 Online Consultation is now live - you can access it by clicking here. It covers a number of topics that are fundamental to our work and will take you up to 25min to complete. Many thanks to all those who have already completed the survey. If you have not yet done so we would very much value your contribution and encourage you to give your views. It really is important that we hear from a wide variety of people from across the sport of athletics and running. You can read more about the consultation below.

Throughout the course of the year, England Athletics will hold consultation meetings around the country. So that we can tailor the consultation sessions, we have developed a series of questions so that we can better understand the views of registered athletes, representatives of member clubs, volunteers and everyone who cares about the future of the sport.

The England Athletics Club Run programme supports club runners, coaches and leaders and through a series of practical sessions delivered at your club on your club night.  The sessions aim to support clubs and their runners to achieve more through their love of running.  The closing deadline for applications is midnight 7th May, 2017

Things are now hotting up with less than 100 days to go before the action starts at the Olympic Park. With London playing host to the first ever back-to-back World Para Athletics Championships and IAAF World Championships we are hugely excited about the summer.

The England Athletics Marathon team event was incorporated into the Virgin Money London Marathon.  Following registration and vest checks we are now able to announce provisional team results.

Runners from across the country gathered in the pretty village of Kingsley, Cheshire on Friday evening for the inaugural England 5k Championships. Ben Connor and Sophie Cowper were first to put their names on the list of English National title holders for this distance.

England Team athletes competing in the Simplyhealth Great Birmingham 10k produced some strong performances despite challenging race conditions with the very windy conditions.

The Attnanger mile celebrated its 33rd continuous year this year and England Athletics were pleased to again be invited to send a team to support the event. Mixing experience in the form of Richard Weir with John Ashcroft and Phil Norman, who was enjoying his first international call up, there was a degree of confidence amongst the team that they would do well.

Typhoo and the English Federation of Disability Sport (EFDS) have teamed up again in 2017 to provide disabled athletes with more sporting opportunities to compete across England. It will be the third year that Typhoo will add an extra ‘OO’ to the National Junior Athletics Championships and nine regional qualifiers, aiming to increase the number of disabled people in athletics.
