England Athletics' Chief Executive, Chris Jones, and Club Support Managers Rich Ayling and Sarah Gardiner, headed down to the South West to visit Bournemouth AC. Bournemouth AC chair Robin James coordinated the club visit, arranging for England Athletics to meet Bournemouth AC coaches, volunteers and representatives from Dorset County Athletics Association and Team Dorset Athletics Network.
England Athletics Chief Executive Chris Jones headed along for a run at the Telford based club and met volunteers and club members. Chris was joined by Dean Hardman, England Athletics' Head of Business Partnerships and Major Events. The two headed out with two of the different groups on offer to meet different people and enjoy different sessions.

Chris Jones headed to the Bedfordshire club to find out more about their activities. He visited Vandyke School where the young athletes and a throws session took place there, and found out this is just one of the venues used by the club.

Chris Jones visited the South Gloucestershire club to find out more about their set-up and how they have taken on management of their facility at Yate Outdoor Sports Complex.

England Athletics Chief Executive Chris Jones went along to visit Ivanhoe Robins with Club Support Manager Heidi Bradley. Also visiting the club for the evening was international distance runner Gemma Steel. Chris, Heidi and Gemma met young athletes, volunteers, and staff of the school where the club meets. They had the opportunity to find out more about how the club currently operates and plans to develop.
As on any normal Tuesday, this one a beautiful summers evening in Kentish Town, North London, Mornington Chasers were gathering at the Talacre Sports Centre prior to their weekly run. But this evening England Athletics chief executive Chris Jones had travelled to London to see the Chasers within their home environment.
