Saucony English Cross Country Relays: 3 November

The Saucony English Cross Country Relays take place this year on Saturday 3rd November once again at Berry Hill Park, Mansfield. This is the 30th year that the event has been held on the compact course, with the venue and gathered club cross country enthusiasts generating a great atmosphere.

English U23 Mountain runners acquit themselves well in Slovenia

Callum Davidson (Ribble Valley Harriers, self-coached) and Rory Domville (Reading AC / Bath Uni, coach: Derek Hawkins) both performed competently in a top quality field in the Smarna Gora Mountain Running Race in Ljubljana, Slovenia on Saturday. The race was the final round of the World Cup Series of 5 races.

Last few places for Endurance conference available

The England Athletics endurance conference - hosted by the SW Endurance network aims to explore available technology in; health, nutrition, physical preparation, biomechanics, injury, planning, and performance prediction. There are a few places remaining - the event is open to all and not restricted to coaches.

ERRA 6-stage, 4-Stage and Young Athletes Road Relays

There was a great day of action at Sutton Park as the Senior Men and Women and Young Athletes contested the autumn road relays titles. With Stockport Harriers claiming the men's title for the first time in the club's history and Aldershot, Farnham District winning the women's title for the third consecutive year the young athletes races saw the titles shared around.

England ready for inaugural Commonwealth Half-Marathon Championships

Teams from across the globe will gather in Cardiff on Sunday 7th October for what will be the inaugural Commonwealth Half-Marathon Championships. England Athletics are pleased to be sending full teams to compete against teams from Australia, Botswana, Ghana, Kenya, Mauritius, New Zealand, Rwanda, Sierra Leone, Tanzania, South Africa, Uganda, England, Scotland, Northern Ireland and Wales are due to gather in Cardiff.

Mara Yamauchi, Dr Charlie Pedlar and Bud Baldaro confirmed for Marathon Development sessions

We are delighted to announce that Britain's second fastest female marathon runner Mara Yamauchi, leading physiologist Dr Charlie Pedlar and one of Britain's best endurance coaches Bud Baldaro will be involved in England Athletics' marathon development activity this winter. Mara, Charlie and Bud will be attending the first marathon development weekend this winter and then Mara and Charlie will have further involvement in the workshops and masterclasses to be held later this winter.
