Virgin Money London Marathon Club entry opens 5 November

The Virgin Money London Marathon have announced the process for club place allocation for the 2019 event. Applications will open on 5 November with the number of club places allocated based on the number of registered first claim members over the age of 18 on that date. Please ensure your athlete registrations are up to date to be ready to apply for the maximum possible number of club places.

Globally, both the European CHampionships in Berlin, and the NACAC North American, Central American and Caribbean Championships hit the headlines. CLoser to home there are reports from the MK5000 PB Special in Milton Keynes, BWAA Grand Prix in Stoke Mandeville, Scottish Senior Championships, and WMRA Mountain RUnning World Cup series in Switzerland.

Gould and Vernon finish on top at Skiddaw

Emma Gould and Steve Vernon became senior England Athletics Mountain Running Champions at the British Athletics trial for the World Mountain Running Championships, with Joe Dugdale and Rosie Woodhams taking the U20 Men's and Women's titles respectively.
