Be a part of the celebration at our Hall of Fame and Volunteer Awards

You can be part of the evening as we honour volunteers who have made an outstanding contribution to athletics and running in their community, and induct more of the greats of the sport into the England Athletics Hall of Fame. Join us as Katharine Merry hosts the event at the Ricoh Arena, Coventry on Saturday 14 October and speaks to some of the great characters of the sport.

Coach development - posters now available

This winter there is a full programme of coach development opportunities available with England Athletics. If you would like to make the coaches at your club aware of these posters are now available for downloading.

Presenters announced for National Endurance Conference

England Athletics are delighted to announce the complete line up of presenters for the National Endurance Conference which takes place near Exeter on 28th ad 29th October. The event is entitled How to Win - The Development of Power and Speed for Endurance, and there are some exciting additions to the speakers who will share their latest knowledge with delegates. There's still time to book your place!

Regional coach and athlete workshop - Throws

England Athletics will be hosting regional coach and athlete development workshops covering Discus, Shot, Javelin and Hammer. These workshops are aimed at coaches who have completed the Athletics Coach qualification of the old level 2 and above. We are pleased to announce our first date for this workshop.

'Chucks Away' at Macclesfield Harriers & AC

Macclesfield Harriers AC had a fantastic turnout for their first 'Have A Go: Throwing' event recently. 28 adults attended the session who all had a great time, whilst releasing some life stresses. Many of participants were trying throwing for the first time and had a go at javelin, discus, shot put and hammer over the course of the evening under the club's coaches' expert guidance.
