Shaftesbury Barnet Harriers and Blackheath Bromley Harriers were in action in the Czech Republic, at the weekend representing Britain in the European Athletics A final for club Under 20 teams.
The combined eventers and race walkers headed to Boston, Lincolnshire, to contest their English Schools' Athletic Association titles. There were some excellent performances and great competition being seen across the weekend and throughout the age groups.

England take the titles at British and Irish Junior Mountain Running Championships and Junior Home International
England made a clean sweep of the team titles at the Junior Home International mountain races which were part of the British Irish Junior Mountain Running Championships held in Peebles, Scotland, on 16 September.
Athletes between the ages of 15 and 23 can apply for grants from Ron Pickering Memorial Fund. The deadline for applications is Sunday 19 November 2017.Grants to athletes over 23 may be made in exceptional circumstances.

England Athletics are delighted to announce that we will once again be offering England Athletics registered runners the chance to qualify to represent their country at Masters age group level. On Sunday 8thOctober at the MBNA Chester Marathon around 200 club runners in the age groups V35 through to V75 will don the England vest in a representative team competition having qualified to compete last autumn and earlier this Spring. The team will take on a Celtic Nations team.
This year the English Schools' AA Combined Event Championships and the Race Walking Championships will take place on Saturday 16th and Sunday 17th September at the Princess Royal Arena in Boston, Lincolnshire.
