Be a part of the celebration at our Hall of Fame and Volunteer Awards

You can be part of the evening as we honour volunteers who have made an outstanding contribution to athletics and running in their community, and induct more of the greats of the sport into the England Athletics Hall of Fame. Join us as Katharine Merry hosts the event at the Ricoh Arena, Coventry on Saturday 14 October and speaks to some of the great characters of the sport.

Teams all set for the Manchester International

Teams from across the home countries, the GBNI Under 20 team, Denmark, and the British Olympic winning 4x100m relay team from 2004 who are competing toraise funds for the 'We Love Manchester Emergency Fund', are all set for the Manchester International. The event provides a great opportunity to see athletes from across the home countries in action and as part of the fundraising 4x100m relay, Manchester's former world boxing champions Anthony Crolla and Scott Quigg will be lining up as part of one of the teams.

England Athletics Senior Champs - Day One

Day One of the England Athletics AAA and UK CAU Senior Champs incorporating the England Athletics Senior Disability Athletics Championships produced some great competition with close battles and impressive performances on the track and in the field catching the eye.

Commonwealth Youth Games success for England athletes

England athletes representing their country at the Commonwealth Youth Games enjoyed a hugely success championships in the track and field events at Thomas A Robinson National Stadium in Nassau, Bahamas. Overall Team England finished top of the medal table with 51 medals (23 gold), beating the total of 44 won in Samoa two years ago, and 12 more than the Australians who ranked second in the medal table (39 medals, 14 gold).

English athletes on medal winning form as Team England make history

English athletes gave a huge contribution as Team England made history on day five of the Commonwealth Youth Games, Team England enjoyed the nation's best ever day at a Youth Games. Medals were secured in the pool, on the track and field, the beach volleyball court and in the boxing ring. By the end of an amazing session of sport, eight gold, two silver and four bronze medals had been won across the sports with England dominating the medal table.

England’s Athletes off to great start in Bahamas

The first athletics session of the 2017 Bahamas Commonwealth Youth Games saw England Athletes off to a great start. Team England opening ceremony flagbearer Holly Mills led the way once again with the gold medal in the women's long jump as Lucy Hadaway took bronze, and more medals in the men's 1500m for Joshua Lay and Luke Duffy.
