The combined eventers and race walkers headed to Boston, Lincolnshire, to contest their English Schools' Athletic Association titles. There were some excellent performances and great competition being seen across the weekend and throughout the age groups.

Athletes between the ages of 15 and 23 can apply for grants from Ron Pickering Memorial Fund. The deadline for applications is Sunday 19 November 2017.Grants to athletes over 23 may be made in exceptional circumstances.

The ERRA autumn road relays take place on Saturday 7 October at Sutton Park, Sutton Coldfield, Birmingham. These will be the first to incorporate this additional senior championship in both the men's and women's events.For Senior Men entries will open following the area championships but entries for other races are now all open.

We are pleased to announce our Junior team who will compete in a Home Countries International incorporated into the British and Irish Junior Mountain Running Championships on 16 September 2017 in Peebles, Scotland.
After two years of groundwork, the Hammer Circle, with funding from England Athletics and donations from members, established a team of junior hammer throwers to experience international competition abroad. The competition; the EAP Leiria International Throwing Meeting in Portugal.
The England Athletics Trial Races for the Junior Home International Mountain Running Championships took place in Sedbergh on Sunday 27th August. The England trial races for the Junior Home International mountain race have produced strong teams across both age groups.
It took year leading marks, two UK records - and in an encouragingly large amount of cases, an all-time top 10 performance - to secure victory in a wide range of events on day two of the England Athletics Under 17 / Under 15 and Disability Age Group Championships, confirming that the current crop of age groupers is one of the best.
