Throws Community - Coach Education Q&A

Throws Community - Coach Education Q&A

England Athletics are currently investigating the potential of organising an Athletics Coach course that is only open to coaches who are involved in Throws events (including Athletes, Parents, existing Coaching Assistants, or Level 1 Coaches).

To guide the planning and development of this idea, and to gauge the opinion of those that would be potentially interested in attending such a course, Martin Rush (Head of Coaching and Athlete Development), Rob Thickpenny (Coach & Athlete Development Manager - Throws and Physical Preparation) and Paul Moseley (Education and Workforce Manager) will be hosting a Q&A session at the Senior Championships being held at Bedford International Stadium.

The session will take place:
Date: Saturday 29th July 2017
Time: 12:30pm – 1:30pm
Venue: Small tented area close to the spectator area for Hammer, Discus and Javelin.

All are welcome, as we will also have an opportunity to discuss the Coach Education Pathway and higher level qualifications, as well as development opportunities.
