South West team selection process for Mini Marathon

  

The Virgin London Mini Marathon will be taking place on 21st April 2013.

Athletes wishing to be considered for the South West Team should be aware that selections for this event will be made from the SW Champs and other national and major cross country, road and endurance track events in 2012/13.  Selections will be based on performances but athletes with development potential will also be considered.

Virgin Mini London Marathon logoAthletes will be selected for the South West, if they have 9 months' residence or were born in the region (Cornwall, Devon, Somerset, Dorset, Wiltshire, Avon, Gloucestershire).  Six runners will be selected to compete for the South West in each age group team, plus adequate reserves.  The age group categories are as per UKA age groups – Under 13/15/17 before 1st September 2012. 

Closing date for entries: Thursday 15th February 2013 - no late entries will be accepted.
