South West Cross Country Club and County Championships
The England Athletics South West Cross Country Club and County Championships are being held at a new venue on Sunday 7th January 2018. The event will be held under UKA rules.
This is the first time that Aldon Hill in Yeovil (BA22 9TA) will be the location - although it has been used by Somerset Schools in the past.
Entry fees: (includes venue car parking; there is ample parking right next to the course.)
- U11 boys and girls: £6 (development not championship races)
- U13, U15 & U17: £8
- U20, Senior, Master (W35, W45, W55, M40, M50, M60): £10
The organisers are very grateful for all the hard work by Richard Llewelyn-Eaton who is the portfolio holder on the SW Council for cross country and Brian Baker who is the Schools representative on the council. They have designed and planned the course which will be enjoyed by all, although it promises to be a real test of stamina on a very traditional course.
Championship Medals will be awarded to:
- First 3 individuals
- Top 3 Team medals for Club teams (5 men to score and 4 to score in all other races)
- Top 3 Team medals for County teams (6 seniors to score and 4 to score in all other races)
