Junior Mountain Running team opportunity

England Athletics are pleased to announce a mountain running trial race in Sedbergh on 27th August for the 2017 Junior Home International which will be hosted by Scotland in September.

This race has been specifically designed as a trial race to help select the team to represent England at the Junior Home Country International Race in Peebles, Scotland on 16th September 2017.  The courses will be marked and marshalled and will take place on the Southern Howgill Fells above Sedbergh, with the starts on the south flank of Winder, approximately 1km from registration.

There will be three races, as follows:

11.00am:   U17 Girls                       3.65km, 228m
11.40am:   U17 Boys / U20 Girls    5.21km, 341m
12.30pm:  U20 boys, 7.1k, 408m    7.10km, 408m

U20 as at 31st December 2017 - this includes athletes born in 1998, 1999 and 2000.
U17 as at 31 December 2017 - this includes athletes born in 2001 and 2002.
