Join the 4x1, for Everyone Relay

Calling all running enthusiasts, local running groups and clubs to sign up to our fun, friendly 4x1 mile team relay competition on 28 July.  There will be prizes for the winners, and the fastest individuals will be presented in the arena during the track and field champs.

Starting and finishing in the Manchester Regional Arena prior to the start of the England Athletics Senior Track and Field Championships and taking in a mile loop around the Etihad Campus, the event is open to teams of four.  Teams need to pre-register at

Team members must all be over 18 years, and all runners able to complete a mile inside 15 minutes. Each team should include two male and two female runners, at least one runner aged under 25 and one aged over 45.

Entry fee £15 per team, including FREE entry to see the nation’s top athletes in action at the England Athletics Senior Track and Field Championships. Places are limited to 50 teams. Each club or group may enter up to 3 teams.
