Fantastic opportunity to become a member of England Athletics Youth Panel!

Are you between the ages of 16 and 24 and would love to have the opportunity to really influence and support the development of Athletics and Running for young people across the country? Would you like to build your skills and have something very exciting to put on your CV? Well this could be the opportunity for you!

We are looking to recruit passionate and motivated young people with great communication skills for our Youth Panel. The mission of the Youth Panel is: “Support the development of athletics and running with young people, for young people”.

Become a Youth Panel Member

Becoming a member of the Youth Panel will provide you with the opportunity to impact on the development of Athletics & Running across England for young people, as well as build and develop your own knowledge and skills.

This fantastic opportunity is open to any young person between the ages of 16 – 24 to apply for, however to ensure we have representation in the Panel across all areas of the country, we are particularly interested to hear from young people in the following regions;

  • Yorkshire and Humberside
  • South West
  • North West
     

Become the Youth Panel's Communications Lead

If you have a passion and previous experience in the use of social media platforms, we also have a fantastic opportunity for you!  We would love to hear from you, if you would be interested in the role of Communications Lead within the Youth Panel. The main responsibility would be to manage the Youth Panel’s social media platforms and to share and promote the exciting projects the panel will be working on.

To find out more and to apply for these exciting opportunities please read the below role descriptions, complete the application form and return to youthpanel@englandathletics.org by Monday 18th September. Please specify on your application if you would like to be considered for the role of ‘Communication Lead’.

Successful applicants will then be asked to attend an informal skype meeting with someone from England Athletics and the Youth Panel’s Chair / Assistant Chair on either Thursday 21st September or Friday 22nd September.
