I live in east London, which is also where I coach and train.
I have been with my athletics club for 13 years and was recently given the position of club captain, as well as being an athlete, coach and official. I tend to train up to 5 times a week and coach twice a week, whilst only really officiating in the summer.
I am currently training for the London Marathon, which I hope to complete in April 2017. I am also heading up an outreach programme within east London, aiming to increase the number of junior coaches and athletes through open events and talks at schools.
I joined the AYAG following my attendance at the Youth Sport Trust National Talent Camp, which was an amazing experience which really helped me to develop my coaching skills and increase my involvement within athletics.
I am looking forward to my role as secretary, as we are looking to increase the role of the AYAG within British athletics and take on more important tasks within the next year.
