International road running representative opportunity - Rennes 10k

England Athletics are pleased to announce details of a further international road running representative opportunity for 2019. Following on from successful trips in 2018 we will once again be selecting a team to represent England at the following event:

Rennes 10k (France)

13 October 2019
England Athletics will be sending a team of four men and four women to compete in a match against other European teams and the Celtic nations at this event which is is hosted by the French Athletics Federation. The course is a technical, flat lapped route, run on a 1250m loop (eight laps).

The first three runners in each category will score for the team and the overall winning team will be ranked by the times across the four races. The race will be run under IAAF and French Athletics Federation rules.

The England 10k Championships held at this years BM10k at Brighton on Sunday 14th April, 2019 will serve as the primary selection race.
