*There is the opportunity for the events not staged in Bedford on 22-23 June as follows:
• Men’s and Women’s 3,000m: 26-27 June in Manchester.
• Men’s and Women’s 5,000m: 12 June in Watford (BMC meet).
We will start to cascade entries to the next eligible ranked athlete on 9 June if we do not receive an entry from a top ranked athlete by 12 noon on 9 June. We will stop cascading to the next eligible athlete on 11 June to enable management of the event and confirmation of all entries with athletes.
On confirmation of the fields on 11 June, detailed information about the event will be sent to all qualifying entrants. As a point of information, the athlete and one other connected person will be allowed into the stadium area. We will not require vaccinations but will require all attendees to self-health check on the morning of the competition and would strongly encourage a lateral flow test be undertaken prior to attending.
The championships will take place at Bedford International Stadium on 19-20 June. The Championships will be run in a COVID-19 secure environment. Please be aware of any UK Government guidance about international travel prior to an event if you are intending to travel abroad prior to the Championships. These Championships are not being held under ‘elite’ status.
We look forward to welcoming all qualifying athletes and their one ‘supporter’ to the 2021 England Championships as part of our ‘Journey to Birmingham 2022’ Championship events.
